How to Forward Your Exchange Email using Outlook Web Access
1. Open Internet Explorer
Using Internet Explorer offers more options for the Web Access interface. Browse to mail.northpoint.edu and login.
2. Select "Options"
Select options from the top right corner of the webpage.
3. Select "Create an Inbox Rule"
This will bring you to a page with a list of all of your current inbox rules (this list might currently be empty).
4. Select "New"
Click the "new" button in the top left of the rules box to create a new inbox rule.
5. Click on "More Options"
Selecting more options will give you more input fields and more options to choose from within those fields.
6. Under "When the message arrives, and:" Select "My name is...In the To or Cc box"
In the drop-down menu labeled "When the message arrives, and:" select the option "My name is...in the To or Cc box"
7. Under "Do the following:" Select "Forward, redirect, or send...forward the message to"
In the drop-down menu labeled "Do the following:" select the option "Forward, redirect, or send...forward the message to"
8. Enter your email address in the "To ->" box
Once you select the option "forward the message to" a window will open with an address bar at the bottom. Enter the email address that you want to forward to. Then select okay.
9. Enter a name for the rule
In the "Name of rule:" box, enter a name for the new rule. Something like "Forward to [email address]."
10. Select save!
If you do not select save, you will have to start this entire process over.
11. Make sure it's in the Rules box
Once you select save, make sure the new rule is in the list of rules (even if it's the only one).
That's it! You're done!
